Electric network services Request an Asset Value Proposal We partner with house builders, developers, major construction companies and Utility Infrastructure Providers (UIPs). As an Independent Distribution Network Operator (IDNO), we can adopt any network – from 132kV to LV – across the UK power network. As the drive to Net Zero increases, our electrical experts can provide various electrification services, including domestic heating and EV charging. Our flexible approach We believe our success lies with our flexible approach to asset types, including the adoption of future-focused assets like EV charging infrastructure. This flexibility means we can provide competitive Asset Value quotations while still delivering our electricity network design, engineering, and commissioning expertise. Our service includes an in-house legal team to manage the land rights process, which often removes the need to use external lawyers. This helps to cut waiting times – and your legal spend – and to increase efficiency. Network support We manage 1000s of ‘final mile’ electricity connection points for residential housing schemes and industrial and commercial developments. Our role is to maintain high quality networks and ensure electricity is safely provided to all users. High levels of accreditation We’re accredited for half-hourly meter reading, recognised by MAMCoP, ASPCoP, GIRS and AMI. We also hold the following ISOs: ISO14001, ISO27001, ISO9001-2008, OHSAS18001. Market-leading data and analysis AI data processing, comprehensive dashboards and a reporting libraries are just a few of our highly sophisticated data tools. We can also provide full data validation, tolerance checks and alarms for unusual patterns. We’re involved in a pilot project that shows how artificial intelligence (AI) can help prevent local power networks being overloaded as the demand for electricity rises. Project DINO (Domestic Infrastructure and Network Optimisation) is a partnership between us, Evergreen Smart Power, and Myenergi that aims to demonstrate how AI can safeguard network integrity through two-way communication with household appliances in a new build residential setting. It’s the first project of its type in the UK. “There is growing realisation that local power networks may not be able to cope with the huge increase in demand for electricity as we transition to electric vehicles, battery storage/charging and air source heat pumps alongside traditional household appliances,” says Jayson Whitaker, Managing Director of Energy Assets Networks. “The DINO project aims to demonstrate how a network-to-device AI interface can manage loads dynamically by enabling appliances to automatically dial down consumption at peak times to relieve network stress and safeguard power to homes. Without such a solution, the country would need to invest in a hugely costly network reinforcement programme to increase capacity.” Project DINO Evergreen Smart Power, Myenergi & Energy Assets Read more about Project DINO Go to case study A proven track record Power connections. 3 industry accreditations – GIRS, NERS, and WIRS. We chose Energy Assets, which had the wide range of skills for the job. And they were based 10 minutes up the road, which helped.” Joe Day Metering Improvement Manager, npower To find out more Go to the networks site Post navigation Service
