Typically, all new developments require a new electricity distribution network and those networks are installed by a qualified Independent Connection Provider (ICP) accredited to the Lloyd’s Register National Electricity Registration Scheme (NERS). We manage thousands of ‘final mile’ electricity connection points for residential housing schemes and industrial and commercial developments. As an Ofgem-regulated Independent Distribution Network Operator (IDNO) we adopt new electricity distribution assets installed by ICPs after agreeing the value of the assets.

Outcome

For 18 months we’ve worked with such an ICP, Sinewave Energy Solutions, a specialist engineering company who provide High and Low voltage electrical services across the UK. Sinewave Energy Solutions delivers turnkey solutions for any electrical challenge up to 132kv. We assisted Sinewave with a number of newly constructed assets to procure new electricity distribution assets through an ‘asset value’ model.
