Celebrating 100K last mile network connections

We’re starting 2024 off strong, by reaching our anticipated milestone of 100,000 network connections under EA ownership. From EV charge hubs, commercial schemes, and housing developments, this milestone marks a significant success in our journey to energise Britain’s infrastructure.

Reaching 100,000 connections is a collective success and could only have been achieved through the hard work and expertise of everyone at EA Networks our dedicated regulations team, legal and land rights teams, and our wider shared support services.

Who we are underpins our success

One of our key missions is to foster an environment of growth, development, and success. From our training and apprenticeship centre, to our focus on career development programs, we want to provide everyone at EA with the opportunity to develop and grow within the utilities industry. Achieving this milestone is evidence that investing in people will lead to success.

We’ve also established ourselves as the first choice for many developers and contractors in the industry. Our internal teams, coupled with our meter-to-main offering, in-house legal and land rights, and competitive asset values, ensures that we’re a trusted industry partner.

Shaping the future of energy

Our commitment to innovation and sustainability has been another key factor in our success. With our expertise in maintaining and designing high quality, safe networks, we ensure that infrastructure is in place for adoption of future renewable technologies. We’re also using AI to help manage network loads and safeguard power supplies.

With Britain’s EV target of 80% of vehicles sold to be electric by 2030, we’re playing a pivotal role in expanding Britain’s EV charging network. By partnering with leading EV charge point operators, we’re providing an end-to-end service, making EVCP adoption straightforward.
