24 May 20239 January 2024Energy Assets Announces Senior Leadership Team Appointments Energy Assets Group, leaders in energy metering, data analytics, network ownership and utilities construction, has announced a number of senior leadership team appointments and promotions to drive the company’s growth strategy. Stewart Love moves from Group Commercial Director to Managing Director of EA Net Zero (EANZ), a new division dedicated to helping industrial and commercial (I&C) organisations adopt low carbon systems and technologies. EANZ’s portfolio includes a flexible EV chargepoint offer, energy efficiency monitoring and data analytics, and a specialist network connections service incorporating renewables integration. Brian Ward has been appointed Managing Director of Energy Assets Construction. He joined Energy Assets in 2015 as Operations Director, bringing extensive experience in electrical contracting and DNO asset modernisation, and was promoted to Construction Director last year. He will now oversee the Group’s nationwide end-to-end multi-utility network design and construction business serving housebuilders, developers and I&C organisations. Sam Wright joined Energy Assets 2021 with 20+ years’ experience in ‘big 4’ professional services, global blue chip financial services and the wider utilities industries. She takes on the new role of Group Shared Services Director, with direct responsibility for Marketing, ESG, HR, Project Management and Business Support functions. She will also oversee Group-wide strategy, risk management and business development, driving consistency in decision making and efficiencies across each division and for the Group as a whole. Steven Miller becomes Chief Financial Officer, having first served as Group Financial Controller when he joined Energy Assets in 2015, before being promoted to Deputy Chief Financial Officer. During his time with the company, he has supported key merger and acquisition projects and refinancing programmes, and helped to deliver the Group’s transition from public to private ownership. Chief Executive Officer, Dave Taylor, who took on the leadership role at the company in April last year, said the appointments reflected Energy Assets’ strategy for growth and its vision for the future. He commented: “The reshaping of our senior leadership team equips the Group with the capabilities to drive the business forward in an increasingly dynamic energy services marketplace. We now have the specific remits, skills and commercial acumen in place to build on our vertical business model, with its multiple customer touchpoints, and to move into new areas that open up exciting opportunities for growth.” The leadership team also comprises David Sing, Managing Director of EA Metering and Data, and Jayson Whitaker, Managing Director of EA Networks.
